We booked the Sun inn as an overnight stay after my dear aunt’s funeral. After such an emotional day it was such a wonderful experience! The suite was absolutely beautiful. Tastefully decorated and well presented. The attention to detail made for a very special stay! We were able to relax and reenergise which was very much needed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I can highly recommend this as a must go to place, especially if you need something special!

I’m not sure if there was air conditioning couldn’t work out how to work the thermostat. Could do with a fan . Otherwise everything was fantastic!

Stunning property, beautifully decorated, a home away from home with little extras

Absolutely stunning fully equipped apartment. Everything you would need for your stay, local produce in the fridge. Beautiful cosmetics around the apartment. Clean, comfortable, luxurious. Large lounge with kitchen was warm, welcoming and comfortable. Bed was large and comfortable. Lovely white fluffy towels to use. Really quirky luxury surroundings. Great pub and restaurant downstairs and lovely beer garden. Staff were excellent, very friendly.

Just be sure you can do stairs, as curved staircase to dressing area and bedroom. We were fine but might not suit someone elderly. Watch your head as the ceilings are low in areas.

The suite itself was absolutely stunning: a little slice of luxury in a lovely old-world country pub. The staff were lovely - incredibly friendly and welcoming in a way you don't find often any more - and they couldn't do enough for us.

Set in a beautiful location, lots of pretty properties with thatched roofs in a lovely rural setting, the pub was excellent, lovely feel, clean, tidy, beautiful beer garden too, obviously popular pub as in the evening it was busy (in a nice way) staff super friendly and accommodating, room was spotless, lovely modern conversion, beautiful building, would definitely stay again and highly recommended, thank you.
