We didn't stay for breakfast, far too late an offering at 9am although acknowledge that an earlier offering was available. On days off folk want to be off and out to enjoy the locality. 9am as a general offering is far far too late.

Not sure the tasting menu lives up to the hype. It was a lot of money and we could work out where the savings had been made. Service lovely and friendly but the menu just wasn't too great. In hindsight we would have preferred to have brought in an M&S salad with us and eat it in the room. Appreciate everything has to be accounted for when catering but this tasting menu wasn't good. It ended with what looked like a Mr Kipling Cake with a dollop of ice cream. Tasty pie filling but not a lot of flair, poorly decorated and with minimal effort. Disappointing. Our time off and away from home is so rare it has to be spot on for us to want to return.

Beautifully decorated & designed. Immaculately clean. Very clear lots of thought & time went in to making it perfect. Bar/ Chef / owners couldn’t have been more friendly & helpful. Even managing to accommodate all my food allergies & intolerances at short notice! Amazing place.

It’s not a dislike, more of a heads up for taller guests. There are a number of low door frames (with clear warnings!) & it’s quite low (brightness) lighting which is motion sensored/ timed, so sometimes heads meet frames in the dark!

Quiet village location. Top spec and quality of workmanship gone into the room. Tentative staff. Nice locals. Nothing was a problem.

Lovely refurbished thatch-roofed traditional inn. We stayed in the beautifully decorated and furnished Dawn suite. Very stylish indeed. Loved the freestanding copper bath!Helpful and friendly staff. Really enjoyed the beer garden and The Hatch food truck. Lovely riverside walks.

Impeccable and beautifully renovated. Wonderful staff who went above and beyond and could not have been more accommodating!
