The country quiet. The great views from every window. Pleasant employee working on the ground floor..inviting us to the Gladstone Vineyard open day. Bought nice bottle.

Not a thing to report. Even the weather was beautiful. Close enough to Masterton and Carterton

Great location in the setting of a vineyard. Quiet and peaceful. Great place to stay! We really enjoyed our trip.

Lovely location, spacious space with great facilities. No breakfast supplied, but everything else we need was provided (tea, coffee etc). Would definitely stay again and hopefully sample the wines next visit.

Hot water pressure in bath needs addressing and a fan would be good on hot night.

The room was a great size, plenty of space and felt homely. It had everything you could need in the kitchen area and the bed was comfy. We were greeted on arrival and offered wine tasting which was beautiful and felt very special as the cellar door was officially closed when we arrived. It was a lovely way to start our couple of nights away.

The main thing was not having any aircon, it was a very hot couple of days and that would have been a game changer as the nights were a little uncomfortable with the heat. Even with all the windows open it was hot, then that also let in the bugs which wasn't ideal. I can imagine it being a beautiful winter spot with the fire place lit. If I am being very picky the water pressure in the shower wasn't great and it was hard to get a good temperature.

The putting wood in the fireplace and having it ready to be lit was a nice touch as meant could start the fire start away when arrived late
