"What a night at the priest house"

8.0

Amazing scenery Cassie and the day staff were exceptionally pleasant. The Afternoon Tea was delicious and the service by the river was great

The bed was not comfortable for the price. The pillows were flimsy - literally, a pain in the neck!

"Lovely peaceful location, nice cosy restaurant"

9.0

Great location for local race track and a lovely peaceful setting on the river. Very helpful staff both times we’ve stayed and the restaurant is really nice.

This is the 2nd time we’ve stayed here and as other guests have said, the hotel could do with a little love and attention in some areas BUT it is a lovely peaceful location just 5 minutes from where we are visiting. Only problem we were all allocated rooms above the kitchen air conditioning units. We just found it a little weird as hardly anyone was staying there that weekend and you’d assume they would fill out the “better” rooms first? The units were very noisy but full credit to the staff who found us rooms in a quieter part of the hotel, thank you!

"Spectacular!"

10.0

The room was absolutely spotless and full of character. The grounds of the hotel were beautiful and had plenty of out door seating for you to enjoy a drink and bite to eat outside. We will definitely be returning

"Close to Donington Park in Lovely Setting"

7.0

We booked this room because it is close to Donington Park and it only takes a few minutes to drive there. We didn't have any food and drink, so can't comment on that. The hotel setting is lovely and there was a wedding reception taking place, though we had booked a 'cottage', so were not in the main part of the hotel. We had a good night's sleep.

The hotel was a bit tired in appearance and could do with a refresh, but it suited our purpose.

"Great location , comfortable room, good food and friendly staff."

9.0

The Priest House was perfect for our night stop with our dog, away from the motorway. A pretty setting by the river , we enjoyed sitting out having dinner in the garden area. The staff were friendly, we had a good dinner and excellent breakfast. We stayed in the seperate accomodation as we had a dog, the room was large and well equipt .Will stay again.

Steep stairs to room on first floor.

"I would stay again mainly for the location!"

8.0

A brilliant location

It misses a more personal touch that you get with a small B&B. Only one size pillows that gave me a neck ache.
