Ethelbert Lodge - Arree Stays

Great location

Great location. Waking distance to everything you want. Right near the beach and near some lovely cafes, restaurants, bars and shops. And far enough away from the busy crowds. Perfect location. Staff were in regular contact before to share all the information needed and checked in to make sure everything was alright during our stay. Really helpful. Only used one room but the bed was big and comfortable. Free WiFi worked a treat.

Photos aren't quite a true reflection of the place. In reality, the furniture, decor and apartment is more tired looking. Steps to the flat but this wasn't a problem at all for us but something you would want to consider if mobility is a problem. Our friends were staying a few roads away, paid less for their accommodation for the same amount of nights and theirs was nicer. But we had the slightly better location so depends on what you want. We got the place discounted slightly so glad we did not pay the full price.

The apartment was really lovely, clean and comfortable. Beautifully furnished but felt very homely. So many details that were so well considered and it truly had everything we needed and then some! It even had an air fryer! The shower was great. Thank you so much!

This place was amazing and so comfortable and clean, we all enjoyed our stay here. The apartment was equipped with all our needs , our friends really enjoyed this as the left the booking down to me. The hosts were also amazing and communication was brilliant and the gift on arrival was so nice to receive.

The beds and the lounge, kitchen area.

The damp, the leaky shower and the dodgy area. The people living in the neighbourhood. The street outside is unkept and not an area you feel safe leaving your car in really. You can tell the flat has beeb broken into by the marks on the door. Made me slightly unsettled sleeping at night. I also didn't like being harassed by messages from the owner before our arrival and on our arrival. Lots of lots of messages... way too many. Some even trying to get you to not make negative comments about the accommodation.

So convenient and fantastic for families and friends, very well looked after and it was so spacious!

Excellent communication from Ryan and Ramona. Immaculately clean and modern apartment. Very comfortable sofa and beds. Lovely shower. Thoughtful welcome gift. Couldn't fault anything, it was all lovely.
