Apart-Hotel Riviera Old Port

Apartment itself was great, especially for the price. Perfect location and extremely cleaned. However it was located on the 4th floor with no lift or even lights on the staircase.

Avoid this place, it's not an aparthotel, there is no reception, you are met on the street, the paint is falling off the walls, there are holes in the ceiling, the bedroom in our apartment is inaccessible without climbing a really steep, dangerous ladder into a space that is less than a metre high Nobody answers the phome at so-called 'reception' and if they do they are rude amd unhelpful. We had booked and paid for 3 nights but had to leave after one night as we could not access the bedroom and they refused to help or refund us our money

The good Air conditioning was excellent. Apartment quite clean Good location Good fridge, freezer, cooker. The bad 6 flights up stairs but I did know this before booking. One bedroom had no shutter over window so light got in easily. All rooms had low ceilings in parts meaning I had to crouch at times to get around. Banged my head hard twice when standing, forgetting the low beams. No bin anywhere! Shower very poor pressure - limescale in shower head If it weren't for the shower,I may well stay again but I like a powerful shower, not a drip, and for that reason I wouldn't stay here again.

Excellent location -apartment was spacious, but the floors and bathroom were not cleaned before our arrival. Also the bed was uncomfortable. I love the history and old buildings, but will be more discerning when choosing my next holiday in Nice.
