Cozy apt with great city view

Cleanliness, lacking some cleaning supplies to clean it ourselves

The only good thing about the apartment was that it was easy to get to Times Square in New York by public transport.

We are very disappointed. The apartment does not match the description on Booking. Nowhere was it mentioned before arrival that the apartment is shared with other travelers. Both the bathroom and kitchen are shared. The apartment was dirty when we arrived. There was expired and moldy food left in the kitchen, which stayed on the counter the entire week and was never cleaned up. The fridge was full of old, expired food. The bathroom floor was covered in long black hairs and dust everywhere. There were also hairs in the bathtub, and the drain was clogged because of it. We asked the host to come and clean the bathroom, but he never responded to our messages??? We had to clean up someone else’s mess just to be able to take a shower. Absolutely disgusting!! This is completely unacceptable. 🤢🤢 Other guests in the apartment were messy and noisy. They would often come in around 1 AM talking loudly and start cooking, so we couldn’t even sleep peacefully. I find it unbelievable that the host refused to respond to my messages asking for cleaning, and also ignored Booking.com customer service when they tried to contact Jimmy. I do not recommend this accommodation, as it’s clear the host simply does not care.

The Location was good and just one bus away from the center of Manhattan

The room was not with private bathroom which was not written clearly while Booking the place. It should be clearly mentioned a room in a shared place with shared bathroom, while it is written for other types of rooms but when I booked I was not able to see any other room , maybe it was not available that time so Got surprised to see that it is shared place and shared bathroom.
