Downtown Sailboat - Vega 2

Very unique experience to stay on a boat. The harbour has facilities you can use and a shopping mall nearby.

Know what to expect. It is a simple boat. Would not recommend staying here for longer than 1 day.

The boat is situated in Gothenburg harbour. Waking up to the sights of boats next door is fabulous. Very easy to get to.

The showers and toilets are in a separate building. This isn't a bad thing, but be aware of this if you like convenience

Early check in was really great and instructions were very clear which makes our arrival really easy. We really appreciate that ! Location is really good !

We can’t use gaz to cook anything so it is not very practical.

Probably the most surreal staying overnight experience in Gothenburg, although it should be viewed more like a camping on a boat in the city. The instructions of the host were super clear, you just find your boat yourself and you can enter it by yourself. The insides are bigger than you expect by looking at the boat itself, and it theoretically fits up to 4 people. The hardest part was to understand how to get the power working, although there are instructions provided for that as well. The location is super convenient and feels safe, close to the center and opera house.

Nothing I can think of, but you must be prepared a bit to stay here, since it's not a typical hotel stay. It might be a bit cold overnight, or a bit noisy, and the "bed" is not as comfortable as you'd get in a traditional hotel. Still can totally recommend for anyone who wants to have a little adventure.

The vibes of living in that boat are immaculate, best card game evenings and beautiful rain sounds on the roof ! The beds were comfortable and awesome that they were in seperate rooms :) also the shower room is pretty close and clean :) and it couldn’t be more central !

One of the windows leaked and was moldy and it was damn cold at night and we just had one heater as the other one was broken. So my brother had to freeze haha. Also the hail was coming inside through some openings but that was rather fun tbh

Excellent location and very good communication with the host, Christian. Toilets and showers are in an outbuilding which is very clean and accessed with a key fob. The boat was fantastic. It was my first time stopping on a boat and it was comfy and warm as it has an electric heater. There's plenty of duvets and pillows. I would definitely stop there again.
