Bowness Retreats FallBarrow Park

The location was fantastic for Lake Windermere and surrounding area, literally yards from the water. The facilities in the caravan were excellent and everything we needed for our 5 days.

We have just come back from a 4nt stay at “9 The meadows “ and wow what a fantastic position , less than a one minute walk to the lake & jetty’s. We have been going to fallbarrow a couple of times a year for well over 20 years , & stayed at many of the caravans on site (usually booked through the main site ). This year we thought I would try a private owner “9 The meadows “was very clean & fresh on arrival , with a pleasant decor & decking for sitting out in the evenings🥂.Kevin our host was very helpful & responded very quickly to any questions we had , Overall a lovely caravan & excellent value for a three bedroom I will be definitely be recommending it to my family & friends .

Oven & grill a little on the slow side , an air fryer is provided, but we could probably have done with a bigger one as there were 6 of us , (I would probably take my own next time ).

Went with the family for a wedding. Can't speak highly enough of the property. Location is stunning! At much to do around the park. Furnished to a high standard and very clean. Everyone slept well and honestly can't fault it. Will definitely come again, thank you!

Nothing, the bedrooms are small, but it’s a static caravan, they’re always small.

Caravan was lovely 5 mins from the town

Lovely caravan, everything you need, even a full size dishwasher & a helpfull host. This caravan is about 100m away from the lake shore so its brilliant for kids to feed ducks etc

Nothing, i highly recommend this accomodation, top marks from me.
