Shepherd's Hut at The Granary

Das beste B&B, in dem ich jemals übernachtet hatte und das mit ganz viel Charakter!! Alles hat mir sehr gut gefallen und es hat an nichts gefehlt. Die Lage, die Ruhe, die Sauberkeit, das Angebot, das Bett - einfach alles war super!! Da ich gelegentlich in Steyning sein muss, werde ich definitiv versuchen, dieses B&B wieder zu buchen.

Obvious that the owners did an excellent job transforming this urban site into an almost peaceful country setting. Nice shaded backyard with folding table & chairs to relax with. The fridge with milk & juice.

Hauling my 25 lb. bag up the 24 steps. It didn't give me a good first impression of the place, but we had been hiking the SDW in the heat. After a shower (good pressure), I was in a better mood and was able to appreciate the place. Still though, @ $207, a bit pricey.

Bread,milk ,butter,tea bags all provided. Spotlessly clean compact hut in a quiet secluded garden in the heart of town.

Not much

Quiet, cosy, comfortable, good location for local facilities and for exploring.

Slightly noisy fridge

Bed was really comfy, facilities were top quality and we had everything we needed. Log fire and electric heater were more than sufficient to keep us warm in minus degrees!
