Petone - Central and Spacious

Loved that it was so close to shops, restaurants etc, & had everything we needed for our stay in the apartment. It was so great🥰

The location was great.

The accommodation is spacious, comfortable and clean, smack bang in the middle of Jackson Street. It is well looked after. The amount it is able to sleep comfortably and privately is excellent for its price. Heating was excellent and able to keep everyone warm during the bad weather we experienced. It has all the amenities that you need, and a big lounge to host a small ish group of people easily. It is perfect for a quiet and relaxing stay close to everything you need.

Unfortunately the proximity to other apartments means that you have to be extremely conscious of noise. Our experience was dampened by the neighbour who rather grumpily, and rudely, complained about noise from a toddler on a Friday early afternoon. Something to keep in mind for any future stayers.

Great location central and close to all amenities and short walk to the beach also. Relaxing and chill vibe.

It was very central to everywhere I needed to be and although it was on a main street, the apartment itself was very quiet. Lovely view and fully met my needs. I would definitely stay here again. Carpark is tight however I was able to get in and out in a Nissan X-Trail so it was all good! Panel heating was awesome and really warmed the place up quickly.

The instructions were good however it was a little disorienting to be sure which door to pass through to access the lift or stairs so a little bit of trial and error but I figured it out in the end - perhaps a photo from the carpark to the doors with labels so you know you are heading in the right direction maybe? When I first arrived at the property it was nearly dark so the little corridor to enter the apartment was very dark and it was difficult to see the numbers on the lock box with a phone torch due to the reflection - maybe a battery operated touch lamp could be helpful?
