Amazi Land Home and Farm Stay

The view, the host, the farm, everything was perfect! It was very enjoyable to share a diner and play cards. We had interesting conversations and a lot of fun. We could only recommend.

We should've book 2 nights instead of 1!

Alles so gut, dass wir noch 2 Nächte dazubuchten. Super Erlebnis - der Ausflug zur Kaffeefarm und die Wanderung zu Duniers Familie. Liebe Debora und lieber Dunier, Ambush und Brienna :) auch noch eine Nacht wäre rum gegangen.

A 10 is not enough to rate this accommodation! We have been taken so good care of by Dunier: pleasant company and a natural born chef, he adds something to the traditional cooking with his choise of herbs and vegetables cooked with a bite. The view is stunning: the luxery accommodations around here don't have this view! And of course the animals: they kinda fight each other to get your attencion. Room, bed and bathroom perfect and the oppurtunity to choose if you want some privacy in the comfy area next to your room (with a fridge there, so not the noise in your room) or interact with Dunier or the quests in the other room. Plenty of places to sit outside. Also thanks for Jean Paul who is there to watch the place, doing maintenance and helped us fix a little car problem. Great and easy kayaking from the place itself. Boattrip to the islands highly recommended.

Uns beiden hat so gut wie alles hier sehr gefallen. Am besten fanden wir die Lage mit dem atemberaubenden Rundumblick auf den Lake Kivu! Das Haus steht auf einem kleinen Hügel auf einer kleinen Halbinsel, sodass man wirklich einen schönen Panoramablick auf den See und seine kleinen Inseln hat. Die Ziegen und Schafe sowie 2 Hunde waren mal eine sehr nette und unterhaltsame Abwechslung während unserer Rundreise durch Ruanda mit dem Mietwagen. Wir konnten uns auch ein Kayak ausleihen für wenig Geld und damit auf eigene Faust die einzelnen Inseln in der Umgebung ansteuern und sogar betreten, das war echt cool. Die eigentliche Gastgeberin Deborah war während unseres Aufenthalts zwar nicht selbst anwesend, ihr Angestellter Dunia (hoffentlich stimmt die Schreibweise) hat uns in ihrer Abwesenheit wunderbar betreut und ein tolles Dinner gezaubert, ebenso ein sehr leckeres Frühstück am Morgen vor unserer Abreise. Ein sehr herzlicher, freundlicher und aufmerksamer Mitarbeiter! Wir waren wegen der ausnahmslosen 10-Punkte oder 5-Sterne Bewertungen zuerst etwas skeptisch, können diese nun aber bestätigen! Es handelt sich hier nicht um puren Luxus, aber um ein wirklich liebevoll betreutes und gepflegtes Anwesen, das einem keine Wünsche offen lässt und durch die Lage wirklich einzigartig auf unserer Reise war. Wir können es jedem nur empfehlen.

Wenn man Angst vor Hunden hat, oder sich am Ziegenkot stört, könnte es hier natürlich schwierig für jemanden werden... Wir fanden die tierische Gesellschaft jedenfalls sehr angenehm!

Un posto assolutamente meraviglioso, il più bello in cui abbiamo soggiornato in Rwanda. Le camere, arredate con gusto in stile rwandese, offrono una vista sublime sul lago. Il cibo è semplicemente strepitoso. L’accoglienza di Debora è stata speciale: ci ha aperto le porte di casa con calore e ci ha fatto sentire subito a nostro agio. Con grande professionalità ci ha aiutato a organizzare le ultime tappe del nostro viaggio, rendendo tutto più semplice. Indimenticabile anche la cena condivisa nel suo grande tavolo di cucina, insieme a lei, al suo fantastico assistente che ha cucinato per noi, e a un’altra ospite: un momento di convivialità autentica che ci porteremo nel cuore.

L'endroit est juste enchanteur avec une vue dont on ne se lasse pas. Déborah et Dunier sont hyper disponibles. Nous avons eu de super échanges avec eux et ils sont très généreux. Nous serions bien restés plus longtemps si notre emploi du temps le permettait. J'ai signalé un problème de changement de vitesse au VTT que j'ai loué et ils l'ont immédiatement envoyé pour réparation.
