A perfect place to unwind and relax right on the banks of lake Kivu.The moment I walked in,I felt at home.Deborah is an amazing host and a lovely human being.Dunier will make you great home cooked meals. Ambush and Brianna ( The dogs) will accompany you on your morning walks.Obama and Coco Chanel ( The goats)will be ready to greet you as soon as you wake up.The orchard is filled with fruit bearing trees,birds singing on the branches,the breath taking view of the lake and warmth of the people! What more do you need ?! When you are in Kibuye,look no further, Amaziland is your place to relax and revive!

This place is absolutely stunning with some of the best views of Lake Kivu you’ll ever see. There are goats, sheep and 2 adorable dogs which just makes it all the more unique. The room is big, clean, and very comfortable with a hot shower. The staff Dunai and Pacific are extremely friendly, we all played card games in the evening. The breakfast was one of the best breakfasts I’ve had since coming to Rwanda.

Can only pay by cash. For dinner i had a matoke curry and had to pay 10USD which is very expensive. I suggest to eat out instead.

The vy to the Lake Kiku was just fantastic. We had a chance to make a boattrip to the islands to see monkeys, fruitbats and we did swim at the island Peace. We did enjoy four days here. We did hear the fishermen start singing to the Lake Kiku in the evenings and coming back in the mornings singing as well. The personal was extremely nice and helpful in everything. The owner Deborah was telling us good stories of life in Ruanda. For us it was easy to understand why she moved to the country 13 years ago. The chef Dunia made so tasty food of local ingredients. The breakfest was so divine, that is why we did enjoy of it for a long time. We had also divine dinners at the evenings. The dinnertable discussions together were so adorable between different peoples nationalites. Modest took care of so many things and was so sweet. The dogs, goats and lambs were Deborahs sweethearts. The room we had was so cosy. There was two windows to the Lake Kivu. The fresair in the room gave us good and deep sleep. After these days here we did feel very well and could go on with our epic journey in Africa. We do highly recommend this lovely place. Nina and Jaakko from Finland

Such an amazing stay at Debora’s house! Debora is a wonderful host. You will be staying at the top of a hill, with breathtaking views and surrounded by friendly people and animals—goats, sheep, and dogs. The delicious meals are a highlight; the simple Rwandan breakfast with a view is really great. There is direct access to the lake, and Debora can arrange a boat or kayak for you—just ask her. The room is comfortable and equipped with a private bathroom with hot water. This was definitely one of my best Booking.com experiences!

We LOVED our stay at Amazi! Deborah is an amazing host, the room is quiet and comfortable, the location simply breath-taking, and the breakfast delicious. We also booked a boat tour to the islands -- just let Deborah know and she'll make arrangements for you -- which we loved. We went swimming in the lake in the morning, which was one of our favorite experiences around Lake Kivu. If you are in the area, make sure to stay here.

The location is stunning and overlooks the lake on both sides - with a short walkway down to the lakeshore. It is a supremely relaxing spot with goats and sheep roaming in the garden. Deborah and the team are superb hosts and we felt very much at home here.
