The Hive, Central Ludlow, Free Parking, Boutique Hotel Style

The decor was quirky but well done

A bit too small for us, awkward getting in and out of bed.

We loved the location in Ludlow. The Hive was perfect for us as only visited for three nights. All the facilities were very high quality and spotlessly clean. There was everything you needed for a comfortable stay. The free parking was ideal. When visiting Ludlow again we'll definitely stay at the Hive.

Great location in centre of Ludlow, very cosy cottage that had everything we needed with a very comfy bed and nice linen, brilliant shower and lots of little extras. As a nature lover I really liked the bee and hive theme and we appreciated the tea, milk and biscuits.

Although the cottage was lovely inside and cleverly decorated I'm not a fan of plastic flowers and trees as I much prefer the real thing, especially as Ludlow and Shropshire is such a green environment. Also the outside space could be made prettier with less concrete and plastic and more in keeping with neighbouring gardens.

We loved our 3-night stay at The Hive. The location is great with the town centre being a short 5 minute uphill walk away but easily manageable for somebody unfit liked me. The property is exactly as described, pristine and immaculate with everything needed for a short stay. The bedroom is quiet, at the rear of the property away from the road with a comfortable bed and bedding ensuring a good night's sleep. Decent sized towels and complimentary toiletries in the bathroom and complimentary tea, coffee, sugar, milk and biscuits on arrival. Free parking is a bonus and we got a parking space a couple of doors away. There's nothing to dislike about The Hive and it would be our first choice if visiting Ludlow again.

Location, cleanliness, comfy

The cottage was spotlessly clean, well designed and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay right in the town. We appreciate the effort that had gone in to the decor and the ample supply of coffee pods! The additional room upstairs was very handy for luggage and getting dressed etc as the bedroom is on the small side. Mark and Denise responded quickly to all enquiries. The public residents parking is right outside the house and is all arranged for you before you arrive. It's all digital so no permits to display.

Immaculately presented, clean and modern, exactly as advertised. Location was great and the parking arrangement worked well despite the town centre location. We had everything we needed for a short stay in a really beautiful town.

Ideal location to the centre, well looked after. Everything we needed was there. Parking outside the cottage was a bonus. We love the cottage, have stayed previously & will stay again.
