Nice, quiet and spacious

Couple of bits looking dated but still a lovely place to stay

A lovely homely feel, and very handy having an enclosed veranda for our dog. The accommodation was comfortable and had everything we needed.

One of the kitchen cupboards had a broken door, and two of the four main bedroom lightbulbs need replacing. Would be nice to have larger towels.

One of the mattresses in the twin room could do with being replaced. It was a bit lumpy

Very well maintained. You can find there literally everything you need. The host was exceptionally helpful and kind (I didn’t meet her in person but the contact via messages was smooth and quick). The caravan is spacious and tidy. Very good location to discover Cumbria and the Lakes but also for Hadrian’s wall. The fireplace was great and made the place warm and very cosy.

I found the tools/utensils in the kitchen quite old. The pans were very scratched and not really big and there was not enough cutlery for a bigger family (it’s usually 5 of us but this time only 3 but I noticed immediately that it wouldn’t be enough for 5) and all of them were different. Not a big deal but one trip to a big furniture retailer and it’s solved and makes a “wow” impression. There were hair from previous occupants in few places.

Really comfortable in a lovely location. And dog friendly - all set up for the dogs to feel at home.
