Oreum Stay Myeongdong - Female Only

The location.

This place blatantly lied about the facilities. It was horrendous; the only good thing was the location. It was made to seem cozy, small, but clean and comforting. There was no real power, just a show head in the. The bathroom is located next to the toilet and sink. The water system didn't work very good, so sometimes it wouldn't come out. The bathroom floors were so nasty I didn't want to walk on them. The bed messed up my back. It was so uncomfortable I just wanted to leave and find another place, but it was too late to go anywhere else. The photos made it seem nicer than it was, and I don't appreciate being lied to.

Great value for money - great A/C, mini fridge in room, own bathroom, free noodles, free rice, free homemade kimchi (delicious!), free tea and coffee, free filtered tap water and free laundry. Literally can’t beat it in Seoul! Yes, the beds and rooms are small. And at least some of the rooms are also windowless (not sure if all of them are but mine was) so there are a couple of downsides but all the freebies more than make up for that! I also had some lovely brief chats in the kitchen with others, lovely atmosphere 🙂

tiny room, but absoluetly enough if youre outside most of the day location is literally perfect, 3mins from the station host is the cutest person ever kitchen is clean and well equipped

The host was so kind and there were all the facilities needed for a comfortable stay

The lady working there was so sweet and was always on top of our needs! I felt very safe and the location was perfect! So close to myeongdong and seoul station

The air doesn’t flow that much but it’s still comfy, you can always open the door cuz it’s very safe.

All the reviews were true earlier, but it didn't bother me at all, because I a) sleep in earplugs, b) I only come here to spend the night. You can actually hear what's going on in the hallway in the room, but that's because the door doesn't fit snugly because of the electronic key.

The location was excellent and the lady of the hostel was very friendly. Her English wasn't very good, but she tried her best and had a translator app. The hostel was clean, the room was very small, there was free tea, coffee, rice, kimchi and ramen. And you could easily wash and dry your clothes.

I had to get used to the shower next to the sink and toilet and everything is wet when u use this. I missed a brush to clean the toilet and a subtractor for cleaning the douche after using it.

Convenient location, shops and cafes nearby. Myeongdong and subway station nearby~👍🏻
