Oreum Stay Myeongdong - Female Only

Everything was amazing! The owner is a very nice woman who has created such a welcoming environment. From the free Ramen, rice, kimchi, and coffee to the free laundry facilities, shampoo, body wash, and toothpaste. Also it was so comforting to know that it was o ly women who would be staying there and i could leave my door open if I was in the room or walk to the kitchen in my pajamas and feel comfortable. She even switched me too a cooler room with an outside window when I mentioned that I was hot in my original room (I'm from Canada and am used to a cooler temperature even inside) You also couldn't ask for a better location so close to so many great places to eat and shop, as well as to various transit options and attractions. Especially N Seoul Tower cable car which is only a 5 minute walk away, a quick 6 minute walk to Namdaemun market, a fast 7 minute walk to Myeongdong shopping and food streets, as well as Lotte Dept store ( if you go into the basement there is an amazing food court with really reasonable prices).

The bed is not a typical western style mattress, so some guests might find it hard. I ordered a mattress topper from Cupang for $26 Canada and it did the trick wonderfully, or you can go to Namdeamun market and pick one up for around that same price. It really depends on how long you're staying. I was there 2 weeks so it made sense for me.

It had everything in a room as well as free noodles, kimchi and rice. The owner was very friendly and made me noodles on the first night. Very close to buses and train station. There a gym in a hotel close by (2 minute walk) [Jung-gu Hoehyeon Sports Center 중구회현체육센터] for 5000 won per day.

The room Is small and I wasn't used to sleeping on a single bed. You also have to carry your luggage up and down a flight of stairs (just to second floor).
