Oreum Stay Myeongdong - Female Only

The cleanliness, the friendliness of the staff and the location close to everything I was looking for.

It’s a great location - near Myeongdong and close to N tower (well an hour walk up) and has all the amenities you would need - especially as a solo traveller and on a budget. The room is small - but has everything in it that you’d need.

It does have a flight of stairs so may be difficult to bring large or heavy suitcases, Also the area is on a bit of a slope so might be something to consider when walking up

Dirty and mouldy accommodation. Windowless room. Creaky bed and very noisy fridge in my room. The bathroom is incredibly cramped to the point that the toilet seat cover can't fully open, so it has to rest against your back while you use it. The light from the hallway is very bright and floods the room with light all night. I'm baffled by the good reviews.

The owner is a very kind woman who is extremely welcoming and takes good care of the guests. She makes sure you feel comfortable in her place. There is always free water, rice, ramen and kimchi as well as cooking supplies. Everything is clean. The place is also very close to a subway station and just a 10 minute walk to Myeongdong subway. So the location is very good.

The room is very small, the window has no view (it’s just some milky glass).

the room is so small. i can accept because use only for sleep but the bed are so simple, not comfortable at all. the hotel located near myeongdong street and namdaemun market. the area quiet at night. the room can be heard between another

It’s in between Namdaemun and Myeongdong area. So it is an easy access by walking. A good walking distance to Namsam Park as well. Free flow of drinking water and you can save your coffee money as well. Because my religion dietary, the ramyeon is a no for me. Others visitor can enjoy it. Small mini market also available right outside the accommodation.

The room is much smaller but it was acceptable for 1 person. However you need a skill to unpack and pack your luggage.

Honestly, the owners let us having access to a lot of things and everything was clean.

location is quite okay, not too near not too far from hoohyeon subway station exit 1. walk about 6 minutes from the exit. owner/staff is very friendly and guide me through the dos and don's at the stay. near to namdamun market (8 minutes walk), myeongdong (15 minutes walk), namsam just 14 minutes walk. its nice that you can have you private bathroom even if its small and quite cheap. nice!

room is very small, and if you are tall, the bed is really small too. since i am small, its not that much problem to me. however the spring bed keep making sound when 1 make any small movement during sleeping which keep me awake almost all the time~~ haha, when i turn around during sleep, my knees few times hit the bathroom wall and get bruise haha.. i just can't wait to sleep on my bed at home~~ aha, 1 more thing, you can hear someone snoring from next room and also the light from the hallway is quite bright.. maybe can bring eye mask if you sensitive to light. if you have large luggage, you will probably not able to widely open your luggage, lucky my luggage is hand carry and i just got another backpack. overall is okay if it is short stay, since you will be out most of the time and it is cheap. hehe
