The room is stuffy and hot. Despite it mentioned had aircon but it is switched off.. there is slope walking toward the premise. It is a challenge to walk with a heavy luggage

The location is perfect, near myeondong main street but not in the middle, is quite silent in the hostel street. Love to have my own bathroom, and there is free rice, noodles and kimchi, also you can use the washing machine!

The only thing i didnt like was the bed.. its sooo uncomfortable because there is no mattress, but overall its a good stay for the price.

Well this place isn’t going to be for everyone so you need to know what you’re getting into! It does have some plus sides to it though. Location is great and 5 mins from metro and an easy walk to Myeongdong. It’s very clean and you get your own space albeit that space is ridiculously tiny and the beds are a joke.

The bed was about 2ft wide and too short. I am 5ft 3” and slim build, if I lay on my back with arms by my side, that was the entire width of the bed. It also doesn’t have 24 hour reception in fact there is no one there to meet you unless you happen to arrive between 12-6pm. This should be corrected in booking.com. It also doesn’t have sound proof rooms. You can hear every little noise from the rooms next door. And the size of the room is literally the size of a UK double bed, yes that’s the size of the whole bedroom area. And the shower is like a large shower cubicle with a sink and a toilet inside it. You do get used to it after a while including the coded system to get in your bedroom but you need to be prepared for all these things which I wasn’t. It is a good price and location though.

Perfect. Very easy to access public transportation. They also provide free kimchi and noodle, it is so delicious. I will come back to stay again next spring.

Central location, very clean, very good like a base for sightseeing. For sure I will stay again here if I will return some day.

An annoying permanent noise from a ventilator, probably the heating system.

The location was great, the owner was very friendly and I had a very comfortable stay! I want to stay at this hotel the next time I go to Korea.

Even though tiny, the room had everything you need, space used to the optimum. It was easy to find with the pics provided although I was a bit nervous about changing the door code and potentially messing it up and locking myself out of the room. Maybe it would be better to pre-program a unique code and provide it via email? It was nice to have the free noodles and kimchi and rice in the kitchen, saved me when I arrived hungry at night. The staff was very friendly when I ran into them (I didn't see them much)

The AC did not work properly (it's centrally controlled, no remote in the room). This made the room extremly stuffy and too warm for me to comfortably sleep in. The room is TINY, pics on here are taken with a wide angle lens and it can feel claustrophobic if you are not used to this. The bed was very hard, even for Korea. I would only consider staying here if you are planning to be outside all day, and only sleep here. Because otherwise the room is just too small and stuffy. There is no common area to relax, so you are stuck to your room.

The owner of the hostel is a very nice person. She leaves you rice, ramen and kimchi in case you want to eat, totally free. The place is, at least my room, small but clean and with all the details.

The only problem is that if your roommates are not very polite and start talking at night, you can hear everything. But that is not a problem of the owner of the place.

I liked how close it was to the metro and that you’re close to a lot of food places. You’re also in walking distance to some areas/attractions as well. So, it’s definitely well located. The host was really lovely and makes sure you have all the right info before you come. The basic necessities such as towels, shampoo, body wash and toothpaste are provided as well. There’s also ramen and kimchi provided too. You do have everything in one place like your own bathroom and a private room of your own with your own secure keypad. You definitely have your own privacy during your stay which is nice.

I think westerners might be a bit surprised how small the rooms and bathroom are but it is still good value for all your basic amenities and a private room in my opinion. There’s no common room.

The location was really good. The hostess was very nice and explained everything well. Room was small but for me it worked quite well. Also really liked the kimchi. Very clean and hygienic.

I had a room opposite of the kitchen, which made it that I could hear the door open and close, and the washing machine and microwave. This sometimes got in the way of my resting time.
