Haighton Manor - Brunning and Price

Good value room...ideal after a long journey to have a family meal in the restaurant.

Room was very cold when we arrived and took a long time to warm up but fine after it had done.

History of the house. Room was excellent, clean and the bathroom was lovely. Setting and views were great. Open fire was a great touch. Staff were lovely and attentive

The bedroom was rather cold.

Lovely Staff. Room had a comfy bed for two very different sized people and a great shower. The freshly cooked breakfasts set us up for the day. Quiet location but within 10 minutes of the motorway was a real bonus.

An amazingly generous full English breakfast. The room was comfortable and very efficiently equipped; the old house has a lot of charm and the staff are all effortlessly friendly and thoughtful. And there are plently of comfortable public spaces to sit in so one is not confined to a bedroom.

Perhaps more choice at breakfast - there might have been wider choice available but it wasn't made apparent.

Beautiful property in a country setting. Our room was gorgeous and lots of space for our family. The staff were fab, v chatty and helpful. Wish our stay could have been longer!

Honestly nothing really to note, everything was almost perfect. The tiniest of gripe would be would like a blind on the windows as when you close the curtains there is a bit of a gap so feel like car park looking in.
