Lovely room, pub, staff. Lots of parking. Really great. Breakfast - Mushroom/spinach option was great.

"A lonely peaceful and relaxing weekend."

The breakfast was excellent. Whilst the hotel is a little out in the countryside this did not bother us as we were visiting relatives and they came to dinner at the hotel. Dinner was excellent too.

"Loved the candles on the tables and excellent food."

We liked the overall ambiance and especially the candles on every table, it felt like the whole place was really looked after and cared for, with the fires lit in the winter it will be even better! A very good dinner menu and breakfast and a lovely room with a large comfortable bed, looking forward to breaking our journey here again.

"Hidden gem"

Beautiful setting. Wonderful accommodation. Good value for money.

Food was quite good. There were limited choices for breakfast but the helpful staff and wonderful location and accommodation made up for this.
