"Lovely stay at Boardwalk Lodge."

Very hospitable staff and great location. Comfy bed and bedding. Nice big bathroom and shower.

Breakfast could be improved - coffee machine was broken so could not get a regular coffee (only plunger coffee) and a greater variety of breakfast options would be nice. Still was nice though.

"It was a good stay with the nice scenery"

The host was very friendly: they booked the tour for us, found the necessary socket adapter (Euro to SA), we could easily reach Melissa via WhatsApp if we had any questions. The scenery from the balcony is amazing.

The time slots for check in and for breakfast are very limited. Normally the hosts and the hotels are making them way broader since the guests have different excursions, trips, flights planned. The solution could be changing the official description of the property to give the possibility for the guests to coordinate with the host beforehand. Next, we were struggling with shower, toilet and the bathroom door all the time. In our room they require the maintenance otherwise they are hardly usable. Finally the property doesn't have any electricity generators or other solution. So when there is a load shedding you will be affected.
