Das ist eines von den süssesten Unterkünften die wir je hatten. Alles mit liebe eingerichtet. Schlafzimmer und Bad sind wunderschön. Begrüssung war sehr freundlich. Frühstück wird aufs Zimmer gebracht. Wären sehr gerne länger geblieben.

Un magnifique endroit, à la décoration très soignée. Un excellent petit déjeuner servi par des hôtes très attentifs et bienveillants. Je recommande vraiment cet endroit qui vaut le détour

Amazing place

We were blown away ; it was superb. Rufus welcomed us and showed us to the property. He brought us breakfast on the dot but apart from that , left us to our own devices. Lovely village, everything in walking distance. I would rate this property as the best we have ever experienced on booking. com.

We had booked our night here as a "treat" and a treat it certainly was - it was a nice touch to be meet in person by our host. Part of a lovely complex of buildings the "house" is full of charm and character and is very romantic and matched the descriptions and photographs on the website. All the details are great from high count quality sheets on the bed, which is very comfortable, to good sized towels. The continental breakfast served was delicious. The added bonus of the property is its location in the heart of the beautiful village of Laycock enabling you to see the village at its best first thing or early evening when it is quite and not so full of other visitors

Absolutely beautiful. I felt like I’d gone back in time and was Mrs Eliza Darcy, with a plumbing and a beautiful bathroom. Great coffee machine. Wonderful attentive host.
