Sittingbourne 1 bed self-contained annex, with parking

This was a lovely place to stay. Super clean, very comfortable bed, lovely bathroom, a work space, the ability to make a cup of tea or prepare simple food, and lots of thoughtful touches. The fan was particularly appreciated as it was a very warm few days. I didn’t have a car, but the ability to park a car on the property would be a big advantage to many. It was nice to have a view of the garden, and the unit is well back from the road so there was no problem with traffic noise. It felt more spacious than staying in a hotel room, and the arrangements for arrival and departure were very simple.

Some other reviews have mentioned that you can hear the family at breakfast time. This is true, but given I was getting up anyway, it did not inconvenience me at all.

Conveniently placed for us; we were attending a wedding. Clean bathroom and bedroom.

There was a lot of clutter in the space; we couldn’t hang anything in the wardrobe as there were duvets and towels stacked there. There were objects placed on every available shelf space, so we had to move those to create space for ourselves. There was a children’s small table and chairs and toys in the drawers. There was a glass cabinet behind the door that guests could not access as it had locks on. The whole space felt like a dumping ground for stuff that couldn’t be stored in the main house.

Super clean, heaters in both rooms, they had toiletries in the shower which was very helpful since I forgot mine. It felt very safe and they had a booklet to understand all the facilities, I would definitely stay again.

We did find it tricky to locate , due to it being dark, but found it bin the end.

Clean and well equipped annex, had everything I needed for a single night stay whilst visiting friends nearby. Good value for money. Parking space quite narrow, I just managed to get in and out!

Beautifully decorated. Well equipped. Very comfortable.

Microwave too high up. I’m only 5’1” & balancing on the step was precarious with a dish of hot food. A shelf above the kettle would be more achievable. Smelly fridge.
