The room was very characterful, and also spacious and comfortable. Doug and Kay were very welcoming hosts, made a lovely breakfast each morning, and even gave us a card for our anniversary!

My wife and I had a very pleasant time staying at The Greyhound Inn. The Inn is run by Kay & Doug, and they were both extremely welcoming, accommodating, and friendly. We stayed for two nights and found our stay very comfortable. The room and facilities were clean and included everything we needed. Breakfast is served between 08:00 and 9:30, with a dining room for each set of guests, meaning my wife and I had our own room to dine in. Breakfast included a Full English, alongside a continental breakfast, tea, coffee, and fresh juice. We were also given a space to park our car. The Inn's surrounding grounds are also beautiful, though we sadly didn't get much opportunity to enjoy them due to our schedule. Overall, it was a lovely stay, and I'm quite sure we'll be back!

Ein herzliches Willkommen und die außerordentlich freundlichen Gastgeber! Das Zimmer war sehr großzügig und wunderbar nostalgisch ausgestattet, die ganze Anlage des Cottage mit dem Garten ebenso sehr schön. Ganz besonders haben wir das hervorragende Frühstück mit Blick in den Garten genossen.

"An absolute gem, so much character, lovely hosts"

We went to Suffolk to see some ancient properties… it turned out this cottage was older than all of them! .. lovely property, very attentive hosts, cannot fault.

Need to watch out for the low beams!… just adds to the character.

Beautifully kept historic former pub in a village location, made to feel welcome by the hosts. Only 2 letting rooms, personal service with ample off street parking

What’s not to like, the history in this building is amazing and the hosts are so welcoming, 😊

Nothing at all with this property. The surrounding buildings lack the beauty and history of the Greyhound, but that can’t be helped!
