The Greyhound - Historic former Inn

This amazing property has such character! The bedroom was really big with its own sitting area and everything that you would need. Kath and Doug were lovely hosts. Breakfast in particular was a lovely experience sitting looking out onto the lovely garden.

Quiet, relaxing, lovely room, brilliant breakfast and fantastic owners, we will be back.

Wonderful to stay in a room dating from 1420, despite the sloping floor and some dangerously low beams and door frames. Good breakfast, very friendly hosts and a beautiful setting with a lovely garden.

Very comfortable bed

Everything, from the fantastic communication from the owners once booked, a welcome notice in the driveway entrance on arrival, the welcome from the owners, the amazing room, Super King 4 poster bed, which hugs you when u get in, with a seperate lounge area, sofa and TV (not smart TV) and then a small cosy seating area upstairs with an ambulance of books, the large bathroom with walk in shower and then to top it off the breakfast, either continental or cooked was superb. Tea, coffee, milk and biscuits, hairdryer, blankets, radio, information folder, fan, luggage stool are all in the room, towels, toilet rolls, hand-wash are provided in the bathroom along with some small additional items like cotton wool, cotton ear buds. The Greyhound Cottage guest room is one of the best guest houses we have stayed in and one we would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in or around Glemsford. Thank you Kay & Doug for such a wonderful stay.
