Great location. Great property with modern facilities. The neighborhood is a bit shabby, but don't judge the book by the cover. Glad to have a washer and dryer.

As a self-catering spot, it would have been nice to have more toilet paper and paper towels. Just staying for 4 days we had to go buy more ourselves. For what we paid for the property, I would have expected them to provide at least one more roll of each. Some cling wrap for leftovers would have been nice. Our short stay didn't warrant us buying any. An apron to protect our limited vacation clothes while cooking would have been nice. A simple steam iron would have have been nice for getting wrinkles after the wash. Nothing major, but a few quality of life improvements would make this an exceptional stay.

The property was in a convenient situation for central Waterford visitor attractions. It was clean.

The property was marketed as being a luxury house, this it most certainly was not. There were beds set up to sleep eight people in three rooms, including what should have been a sitting room downstairs. We were staying as two couples, 4 people, and there was insufficient room for us in what remained of the living space. There was one settee for seating two people and one very small table with two dining chairs all in the same room. Therefore impossible for four people to sit and eat together or sit and relax together. The bathroom had a glass panelled door opening onto the top of the stairs, affording no privacy as it had no blind or curtain. This house was expensive and not good value.

I liked the charm of the older apartment and the quirkiness of it.

Parking was a little bit of a challenge at the lot suggested, but we figured it out and didn’t get clamped anyway.

House was clean, warm and decor was beautiful.

A hand rail would be a valued addition on the stairs

No downstairs bathroom

The property was very modern and clean and the decor was lovely. The location is extremely close - it’s a 5 minute walk into the centre. It was warm even with the cold weather outside and there is constant hot water.

We were 4 adults and the sleeping space was perfect for us, but relaxing in the evening there is only 1 couch and also a small table (although we didn’t need a table). Otherwise everything was perfect.

The plus side was- It was in a good location & clean.

Would not recommend! The key box on arrival is a bit of a pain- trying to get the key back into it. It was very fiddly- maybe a bigger lock box. On arrival, no heating / hot water- contacted Lydia- maintenance man came, fixed it. No ideal at 7pm in evening- but sorted the issue. The property is very small, not like the photographs -we were 4 adults & it was a squeeze. Definitely would not fit 6. The bathroom door is a glass panel- no privacy when showering- you can see into the bathroom. Maybe a curtain on the door would be of benefit. I had to message Lydia again- as no hot water / heating- I messaged her at 10am Sunday, as we needed showers before checking out- she replied gone 11am- wanting to send the maintenance man AGAIN- I responded we had left, as check out is 11am. An apology we got from Lydia & safe journey home text. Two of our guests that stayed home on the Saturday night had noticed no hot water/ heating but did not know what to do. Twice on our two-night stay, I had to text Lydia over no heating / hot water. We spent over €600- it would have been cheaper to stay in the 4-star Hotel down the road- at least we would have had space & heat. Definitely lesson learned. When I complained, Lydia refused to compensate in any form for the problems we had- If you rent out your property you have to at least provide the essentials. Lydia did reiterate that the issue will be fixed – perhaps the next people who stay will benefit from it.
