Room very dated and not totally clean. Spiderwebs on ceiling. Floor very creaky and walls paper thing. Maintenance outside window at 8am and fire alarm woke us up early in the morning. Not a 4 star level experience.

From the receptionist,who upgraded our room to the new waterside rooms ,fantastic room with balcony and beautiful view over the river,bar and dining room staff,and leisure centre staff they couldn't be more welcoming or helpful, We thoroughly enjoyed our stay ,and well be back. Pat

Biggest plus for this hotel is definitely the staff, they were polite, professional & really engaged with their customers. Brekkie was really nice, its your basic buffet style and what was provided was tasty and the range was quite good. Also had dinner here one of the evenings and the food was fantastic.

Not too much, maybe the room could have done with a little updating.

Exceptional room with lots of space, very comfortable extra large double bed, lovely and clean with a fabulous bathroom and the most amazing views across the river. The staff were amazing. All of them were polite, friendly and helpful. Even though the hotel was suffering from a major IT outage when we arrived and got the duration of our stay. The staff handled it brilliantly. They got us an upgraded room and personally escorted us to and from our room to allow access as the IT outage couldn't create our pass cards. They didn't complain once no matter how many times we had to keep going back and forth. The breakfast and restaurant good was extremely good with lovely staff and great views. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area.
