Lovely 2 Bedroom House with Parking

Location and size.

No hot water from taps (basic requirement). Scolding shower, when it worked (hottest weekend of the year). Had to boil a kettle to wash up. Socket covers fell off the wall in the kitchen. Loft ladder hatch was open/broken and scared my child. Issues not dealt with properly during or after stay.

We loved the way the house had been decorated, lots of very nice touches to give the property a good feel. Dog friendly which we needed, so excellent, garden was helpful. Parking good. We would return ....

On arrival, the heating was on in the lobby (not good on a hot July evening). The instructions for the thermostat didn't bear any resemblance to what was there. Phoned someone, have to wait to morning. We eventually worked it out. No information pack on arrival in house to explain what to do (info from Booking.com out of date). A pack is useful telling about heating, Internet, rubbish, places to visit, where to walk dogs etc etc. The loft hatch was hanging down in 2nd bedroom. Could do with comfy chairs in bedrooms (nowhere to put clothes) and another bedside light in main bedroom Need to remove one wardrobe from 2nd bedroom. Mirror in bathroom needed I have put that it met my expectations, but as you can see, in certain areas, it didn't.

Hosts were helpful. Property was exactly as expected. Very clean and lots of little extras such as tea bags and milk which was a nice touch.

I wouldn't expect a non smoking property to have a used ashtray in the back garden and a slight tobacco odour on arriving. This soon cleared and ashtray easily moved so not a massive issue.

Needed tea towels. Was a little stuffy in arrival Garden was unkept.

Ample parking for two cars. Kitchen was lovely

No mirror in the bathroom

Easy parking, quiet area and comfortable beds.

No chair or dressing table in the main bedroom and no bathroom mirror.

20 mins from Loughborough town so was a nice walk into town. Shower was nice, both beds were comfy. Nice, clean and quiet in the area

Unfortunately it said on the description that there was a sofa bed but it was a small single chair which was very hard so my son had to sleep on the sofa. Cooking pans where overused so could do with replacing. No lock on bathroom door.

Parking

House not ready when arrived. Not clean even after waiting. No instructions for tv. Which bins for what. 2nd bedroom very uncomfortable and cluttered. Had to wash dishies before using. No oven trays. Only 3 mugs. Dish cloths very old and smelly. Pictures on line are very old as house now needing a freshen up and paint.
