MCM Elegante Hotel & Suites Lubbock

The bartender was fantastic. It was very busy Saturday night & he did such a good job trying to keep up with everyone's needs.

The first night wee stayed, the shower/tub drained slow. The second night we stayed, the toilet didnt flush well.

bathroom had hair and some grime on sink. There was also in shower. Otherwise it seemed clean.

I expected it to be totally clean

The breakfast was above and beyond, way more than what is usually offered at this price point and better than I expected (even after reading the reviews)

The "in your face" Christianity—huge slab with the Ten commandments at the front door…

Staff was kind, pleasant, very accommodating. Location was very convenient to down town.

The condition of the rooms and facilities. The walls are stained, moldings coming off walls, vinyl flooring coming up from floors, paint bubbling from walls, furniture in room needed shampooing, the bathroom pipes making a knocking sound entire stay, has to keep bathroom door completely closed to muffle sound. We unfortunately (which we've never done) pre-paid for room, so we just stayed as to not be out of money, and or stay was only overnight. Felt the price was a little high for the condition of room. Will definitely try and seek other accommodation in the future.

Location was extremely close to the civic center

Pretty much everything. Our room's plumbing was absolutely disgusting. Whenever you take a shower, it would not drain. When it finally did drain, about 20 minutes later, you'd hear the gurgle and water would bubble up from the sink!
