"Pleasant but not quite the standard of cleanliness I’d expected."

The decor of the flat was white, simple and fresh. It was in easy access to the main part of the city by a pleasant park and it was quiet. The parking was excellent. And it was easy to warm up the space.
I didn’t know that it was situated in the basement, if I’d known I wouldn’t have chosen it. Though cleanish it wasn’t spotless, there was food left in the freezer, and this badly needed defrosting. There was a soiled tissue on the floor and the flat smelt of curry. The bedroom though pretty smelt musty and the sheets weren’t aired. The kitchen could’ve had a few more necessities like a teapot and something to clean the bathroom with would’ve been good.
