Mountain View Log Cabin - Snowdonia

Beautiful and cozy cabin! Perfect host.

This place is absolutely stunning, we've stayed in plenty of log cabins on this site, and this place is head and shoulders above the rest, the decor is stunning, kitchen beautiful, can't speak for the facilities as we ate out but it was very modern, bed in main bedroom needs a mattress topper as it was a bit springy but there's plenty of space for everything you need. Had a smart tv so we could sign into our own netflix, etc, and free strong WiFi, which was a massive bonus for us. Cabin lay out is perfect with plenty of storage and space. It was very cosy, and the view from the windows and decking was breathtaking. There's enclosed decking for your furry friends, and you're right by the field with the pony's which our daughter loves feeding. Communication from the owners was 👏 👏 👏 brilliant with any queries or concerns answered almost immediately, you can tell the business means a lot to them and they work hard to make sure you have a great stay, 10 out of 10 from us, and we'll definitely be coming back.

Could have been a little cleaner, but that's a minor issue and not the owners fault. Night light is not working in the small bedroom, but only there for 2 nights and not a big issue. Parking is a bit tight.

Location.

Checkin procedure not clear. Arrived at 10pm and no contact numbers available. They haven’t given clear instructions about how to find the property or how to access. No one available to help and no response from messages

Loved how quiet it was, exactly what we needed.

There was a bad smell in the bathroom, it did not affect our stay, but it needs to be looked at for future stays

Be aware with deposit. I was very sceptical of paying deposit, I was never pay deposit in places like that. I managed to get deposit back after 7 days but today after 11 days after stay they try to withdraw 50£ from my account twice. I’m glad that I paid with Revolut and there was nothing in account. I immediately blocked my card and now I have to pay for new. If you book by booking follow instructions and don’t send money or click any links!

Perfect location and views. Cosy inside😊

Nothing really to moan about, my only negative would be that as it is late in the season and there seemed to be a mix match of glasses and the fridge door wasn’t closing properly🙁. Neither affected our time in the cabin.

Good location for visiting Portmeirion

Not being able to get into the bed from both sides. Enjoy
