Hide Away Bungalows in Ben Tre City

The hostel is Very cosy. A lot of plants everywhere and a nice area to chill and hang out. Free bikes (which are a little bit old an yeah not the best). We got a free breakfast (bread and egg).

The communication with the staff is not easy but it works with Google translate.

Nice place , easy to get into town

The staff weren't very friendly, we didn't get breakfast ( it was supposed to be included)on our first morning - just a coffee . The second morning - we insisted and got instant noodles

Feeling safe and relaxed

The garden is spacious and looks great, and the rooms have a good view to it. The shared dining area is also nice, with plenty of seats and tables. While the shared kitchen can use some updates, it's functional. We got offered fruits (bananas) during our stay, which was a nice gesture - some of the people working there are very kind. The location is good, in walking distance to the city (maybe ~10-15 minutes) and places to eat (some smaller shops closer by also)

- The rooms weren't very clean, and they're not closing well, meaning things can get inside (right at our arrival we managed to see a snake under one of the floor beds, and a rat inside the bamboo wall) - The service and communication was generally bad. Don't expect for a comfortable check-in (first thing they requested the passport and payment, before we could even leave the luggage in the rooms; similar happened later to other guests). - for the included breakfast, we had to specifically request it, and received for 1 morning out of 3 (instant soup, instant coffee and eggs - not that it was much to miss, but as principle).
