Finest Retreats - Duck Down Cottage

Fantastic location … better than I’d expected. Cosy cottage with very comfortable bed. Lovely and warm … perfect for winter in Whitby!

Not that it was a problem for me … but it’s duck down cottage for a reason! Low ceilings so a problem if you are tall!

Self catering it was lovely with lovely Christmas surprises

Self catering facilities but we didn't cook Loved the cosiness and warmth Ability to work at table with free wifi Shower powerful Ample hooks and hangers (not a given in Whitby) Great little shelves each side of bed for phone, glasses, cup of tea Soft blue throw was nice to use Gorgeous internal wooden doors with latches Chest of drawers so useful and a mobile mirror and a full length one Location super I am already looking forward to coming again 🙂

No shelf in the bathroom for hair/skin products Duvet quite unforgiving .. but did not taint the stay at all, just mentioning

Great location. Well equipped, cosy and warm. Provided a comfortable relaxing holiday home.

It was cosy, clean and had everything you needed plus a few little extras to make you feel welcome. It was so quiet and it gave us time to relax. It was Rey central in the town so it made getting around really easy and the information given around best places to eat was spot on. The towels were really fluffy it is a place I would definitely stay again
