Rocklands Eco Retreat - Adults Only

The first thing that captured my heart was the panoramic view that greeted me upon arrival. The cabin was strategically perched, offering a sweeping vista of the rugged Cederberg Mountains. The sight of the rocky peaks, tinged with the warm hues of the setting sun, created a magical backdrop that made each moment feel like a painting come to life. Whether sipping a morning coffee or stargazing in the evening, the view from the cabin's vantage point was simply breathtaking.

The cabin was strategically perched, offering a sweeping vista of the rugged Cederberg Mountains, which can be a problem when you do not have a 4 x 4 to reach the cabin. But luckily with us it was part of the breathtaking experice to do 4 x 4 in the Cederberg mountains .

Outstanding location. Lovely and thoughtful arrangements with outdoor bath and shower. Full kitchen. The area has great day hikes and other things to explore nearby.

Some teething problems - outdoor lights didn't work when we were there.

The property was very well appointed very good quality bedding towels. Great views and the location is perfect.

We found it very hard walking up a very steep rocky hill. We were exhausted. Everything food wine cooler boxes firewood clothes etc had to be hauled up to the cabin. A shame the owner could not provide wood as we would happily had paid for it. Although we were told the road was washed away the owner would have been better not to let Rocklands till the road was fixed. It was quite dangerous. The staff Danver and his father were absolutely amazing helping us. If they did not help us we would have had to find alternative accommodation. Rocklands is quite stunning and quite unique. We loved it when we settled down.

Rocklands Eco Retreat is very idyllically located in the Rocklands. The sky at night is simply a dream! The equipment leaves nothing to be desired - there is also a barbecue station! Comfort and cleanliness were fabulous. I will definitely come back!

Rocklands Eco Retreat is one of the most stunning places we’ve stayed at during our trip in South Africa. We absolutely loved the location, beautiful nature around us, and felt right at home at the cabin. Well thought space, great amenities, nicely designed, very comfortable, and great value for money. Communication with the hosts was perfect, and they made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. We would recommend this place to everyone!

Amazing location

Perfect place for nature lovers and a great place for digital detoxing

Great location, tranquil setting on the mountain side with great views, peaceful and quiet surrounded by nature.

A huge dissapointment was the effort required to haul our luggage and cooler box and charcoal etc etc up the side of a mountain as the road has been washed away, my advice would be for the management to buy a quad bike so they can help their customers get to their accommodation untill the road is repaired

The experience was awesome, the location and the view was fantastic. I enjoyed every minute of my stay.
