Contemporary 2 bedroom Apartment - Birmingham City Centre - Digbeth Bullring

The apartment was very clean and tidy. The host was accommodating when we requested a later check out. The location was great for close-by places to eat. Parking was easy in the allocated parking.

There are 2 bedrooms both with double beds so it's more suitable for 4 people rather than 5. The sofa bed is actually a recliner. So if your happy with that then it's fine. You should also request bedding for the recliner as there was only a blanket to use and no sheets to cover the sofa. Other than that small detail it was perfect.

Location was great, facilities good for NO MORE than 4 people.

We booked this property with the knowledge of it sleeping 6 people. On arriving (when we eventually heard back from the owner for the key code!) we found that there were 2 double beds, so slept 4. On phoning the owner we were told that the sofas reclined and to just grab throws off the beds, therefore sleeping 6 of us. Had we been 20 years younger, maybe we’d have laughed and thought “yeah, sod it”. However, this wasn’t acceptable. Still battling with booking.com and the owner for a resolution as 2 of our party ended up getting unexpected transport home at the end of our evening. Not acceptable and put a dampener on our evening. Attached photo to show where we were expected to sleep….

The area is a bit tricky to find but host is always available on call to help out. It deffo and don’t just a book by its cover thing

It's a great apartment with close proximity to the city. Very clean and comfortable beds.

It wasn't ready for our 3pm checkin and the number of items left in the bathroom made us feel like we had interrupted another person's stay. We were relying on the sofa beds but couldn't locate any bedding and there were no instructions. The block of flats is still in an area of building development

Great central location. Comfortable, clean, with all modern amenities. Easy check in, check out process.

Taken off one point because the sofabeds in the living room are actually recliners, not full sofa beds. Also, not the host’s fault and I’m sure it’ll be fine soon, but lots of construction around which affects parking availability and the ambience/noise level of the area.

We booked for 6 people knowing there were two double beds and a sofa bed. The sofa bed was in fact to chairs that had to be plugged in the recline. Not a proper sofa bed with a mattress. We then found that there was no plug to plug the sofa in the recline it. Therefore two people had to sleep on uncomfortable sofas.
