Contemporary 2 bedroom Apartment - Birmingham City Centre - Digbeth Bullring

Apartment was spacious and clean. Two bathrooms were handy as we were family of 6.

Sofas in living room were recliners and not beds which made sleeping very difficult for 2 of us. It should not have been listed as sofa beds or property which sleeps 6. Other two beds were good for 2 each only.

Scammed. The "sofa beds" are not sofa beds it's a recliner sofa, one smells like sick and both dont recline in a flat position therefore you are in a V shape with legs hanging freely all night. it's a total scam, it's a sofa that has no bed function. No bedding provided for the "sofa bed" just one thin throw blanket. hardly got any sleep on the SOFA and woken Very stiff. Very disappointed with a poor description. This left a negative outlook on the whole stay.

Nice facilities, bathrooms were stocked with micellar water/cotton pad’s.

Not enough towels for the amount of people booked. Only 4 were provided yet 5 people were booked in. No pillow for the person who would be sleeping on the sofa bed. Lockbox was very hard to open and when I called the with regards this, the host was quite rude and laughing at me, saying my nails are what was causing it and saying it’s my fault. Yes I understand that is possible however, it should be more accessible to retrieve the key for any type of person.

Property needs a little TLC with some minor damage to the walls etc. However property was very clean and would definetly return.

The apartment is really nice and modern. The furniture is slightly outdated, but comfortable. It’s a lovely apartment.

Check in was 3pm, we still didn’t have the code for the key box at 5pm. We were told it would be sent on the day. I called the number provided numerous times, and messaged on booking.com app. No response for over 2 hours. By luck the cleaner provided us with the code.

Looks nice once you’re inside, probs would’ve been a good stay for four people.

Not suitable for 6 people. The ‘sofa beds’ are reclining chairs (which don’t even fully recline) and no good for sleeping. No extra bedding provided, just sofa cushions and a blanket. Host ignored when we messaged to resolve + booking.com will do nothing about it.

The apartment was not fit for purpose for 5 people, despite the add CLEARY stating suitable for 5 people, as noted on the screen shot added to this review, the apartment states it has two sofa beds, this is incorrect. one sofa reclines for feet only, and the 2nd sofa as seen reclines for feet and back, it does not suit a 5th normal person for sleeping arrangements, clearly not a bed. We had to find alternate accommodation and the host and booking.com refused to refund. Total false advertising and assistance provided. I am now looking to start proceedings to recover lost money as booking.com have stated they cannot do anymore with this as the host has accepted payment and moved on. No "ON SITE PARKING" as advertised, host stated parking is on the street, another false statement, leave your car at risk. We had to find alternate accommodation, and despite trying to make it clear it was not suitable, the host stated we were no show to Booking.com and got paid before it went into dispute, and yes I did contact booking.com prior, through and after the course of this booking. Booking.com have refused to deal with this clear evidence and will not deal any further with this issued, leaving me out of pocket of over £750.00p
