Large Falmouth Town House, Near the Beach

Feeling so welcome and "at home" in a comfy spacious room with everything we needed for our stay. The balcony window opened wide and let in lots of fresh air on a hot summer's night.

Sat nav sent me to the wrong property. Needed to put Avenue Road to find the property!

Such a perfect place to stay for our wedding - everything I was hoping for and Shirley was so kind and welcoming. Thank you so much 💕💕

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt hier - ein super Zimmer mit einem sehr bequemen Bett und viel Platz. Es ist alles da, was man braucht. Der Strand (hier kann man im Strandcafe auch sehr gut frühstücken) und das Stadtzentrum sind schnell zu Fuß zu erreichen. Alles bestens, vielen Dank!

It's a lovely house uphill not far from Falmouth Town train station and Gyllyngvase beach. The room is very nice and spotlessly clean but on the cosy side. Complimentary biscuits, tea/coffee & toiletries were provided. The wifi works well, the bed is very comfortable and the shower is great. Electronic check-in instructions are sent in good time along with parking information. It's a 15 - 20 mins walk to the town centre and main bus stop.

Whilst I admire the clever use of space, and it's done to a high standard, I found the bathroom very restrictive and I'm tiny! The road is a busy one so noise can be an issue for light sleepers. Shirley sounds nice via messaging, it's a shame we never met her.

I was greeted with a very warm welcome. I was able to request a last-minute change to the booking, which was immediately granted. Great location to Gilly beach and close to the train station and town. Check-in and check out times were convenient and flexible. I was able to communicate with Shirley by mobile phone with ease. The furniture and decor were nice along with bedding and towels. I'd definitely stay again.

From meeting our very welcoming host, to enjoying a lovely clean and peaceful room, it was all great! We were visiting for the shanty festival and it's a quickish walk to the town down a hill, or to the beaches in the other direction. So ideally located. It was raining for quite a bit of our stay so we appreciated not having to travel too far if we needed to revise our choice of clothing to suit the weather! I was surprised at how wonderfully quiet the room was too.

Would be lovely to have parking but I'm sure that's a perennial issue in Falmouth, and we were able to park very close without any problems.
