Riverside Bungalow - direct river access!

The house is very well located with supermarkets nearby A perfect place to disconnect from the city and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Easy communication with the owner Thank you very much !!

Nice position close to the river No kitchen space Grubby uncared for Old fashioned Needs a complete overhaul

Nothing. It was grim from arriving at the door. Everything was in a poor state of repair. We were greeted by the smell of damp and discovered the bathroom floor had pooled water. On inspection the facilities were dirty, damaged or marked. The kitchen equipment and utensils were unusable due to damage or dirt. Bedding appeared to be not fresh with fibres on the sheets and the bad frame was thick with dirt, hairs and stains. . The “garden” was poorly maintained and a bag of rotting apples was stacked outside. The owner was contacted immediately to make them aware of the state of the property but she dismissed our concerns. We had to make alternate arrangements at further cost and later on checking older reviews saw that other booker’s had vacated and considered it unworthy of staying.

Everything as described. Lack of cleanliness, dust , stains, etc. No information re facilities. Had to message to ask about Wi-Fi and query water on bathroom floor.

A wonderful bungalow with all the amenities needed. Everything was a perfect size and simply wonderful.

If I had to find anything, it would be to have a rubber mat inside the bath. It’s quite slippery when stepping out so a mat in the actual bath would feel a little safer. But otherwise it was perfect

The location is lovely and easy to find. The property was lovely and clean when we arrived and warmed up very quickly ! The beds were comfy and the bungalow had everything we needed for a truly lovely stay. The garden is lovely and the river just outside the garden gate made our stay perfect - highly recommended!
