The dodgy location that had no security and the parking area had a smell of urine, and there were empty beer cans scattered around. There was an unclean smell in the apartment, and it hadn't been vacuumed (crisps on the floor). Fixture and fittings were unsafe, with lights hanging from their housing in the wall and a long wire poorly taped to the kitchen cabinets. There wasn't a plug for the sink and very limited cutlery/crockery. It looked nothing like the photos. I advise that nobody books here until there has been a lot of improvements to the property. We contacted the owners upon arrival and they accepted our cancellation and therefore received a full refund, thankfully.

Key lock safe was helpful and easy. Kitchen and living area was nice.

Someone was already in my room when I tried to get in. He looked like he had snuck in, as he looked very sheepish when I tried to get in. I didn't feel safe as I didn't know how he got in. The host didn't care and lied, telling me that management had been informed and were dealing with it and when I got in touch with them myself, they knew nothing about it. In the end, I had to leave and find other accommodation.

Location was excellent, near lots of amenities and metro. The apartment was lovely and spacious. Communication was excellent and we were able to get a parking spot.

It wasn't very clean. The floor/carpets hadn't been hoovered and the kitchen cupboards were dirty. The kitchen had hardly any utensils - for example only 3 forks and there were 4 of us staying, and very little else. If we were planning on cooking there we would have had difficulty. The wardrobe also only had 3 hangers and no other hooks in the place to hang anything. I feel that these things I've listed above could easily be rectified and if they had been in place on our visit I would have definitely given a better scoring. Hopefully they will be sorted for the next guests.

Excellent communication from the host. Great value for money too and the location was excellent within reach of Trafford centre and city centre/china town.

There was an odd smell in the living room.
