Five Star Nile Cruise from Aswan to Luxor

This was our first time on a cruise and we really enjoyed the trip from Aswan to Luxor- what’s not to enjoy when you’re cruising up the Nile! The most wonderful part of it was sitting on deck while watching the banks of the Nile go slowly past. The food on the boat was of a good standard and we were always satisfied with our meals. If you want the full choice of desserts, though, make sure you eat earlier rather than later! The staff on the boat were at all times polite, friendly and welcoming. As well as arranging the boat trip through Mohamed, we arranged accommodation in Elephantine Island (which we loved) and a couple of day excursions through him before joining the cruise. We found him to be helpful, friendly and well organised and we enjoyed our time with him as our guide. We left feeling we had made a new friend and will be in contact with Mohamed in the future to help us arrange future trips to Aswan. Thank you, Mohamed, for helping to make our stay in Upper Egypt so special.

Predictably, our excursions from the boat co-incided with the timing of many other boat trips and so the visits were very busy. We still enjoyed them, though, and we’re grateful we’d arranged a private guide through Mohamed rather than being with a large group.

Watching Egypt float by was the best part. The food was delicious, staff were friendly, helpful and courteous, and the ship itself was luxurious. The cruise was a real treat and a new experience for us. The food was delicious and the staff were all courteous and helpful. Travelling on the ship is a luxurious experience, as Egypt floats by on the banks of the Nile. It involved trips to Kom Mombo and Edfu temples, which all worked like clockwork and were highly interesting. Mohamed was extremely helpful in supporting our visit to Aswan for 4 days in March 2026. We stayed on Elephantine Island at Queen House, which overlooked the river Nile on the west side, looking over to the Aga Khan Mausoleum. It's in a great location and everyone was super helpful. We ate two nights at the Kush restaurant, which was the best food we ate in Egypt and had a great  relaxed.atmosphere. The Beef Moussaka Tagine was delicious and we wished we had eaten here more often. Mohamed arranged pickups and trips on several days we were in Aswan, which involved endless fantastic experiences. We particularly appreciated the opportunity to experience aspects of Nubian life, which I found very humbling and was a highlight of my trip. Overall, Mohamed was very helpful and instrumental in making this an unforgetable and awesome experience. We will definitely be back soon,  and  would not hesitate to seek Mohamed out again in the future.

We had an amazing experience on this 5-star Nile cruise. Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish. The ship was luxurious, very clean, and beautifully decorated. Our cabin was comfortable with a stunning view of the Nile. The staff were extremely friendly, professional, and always ready to help. The food was delicious with a great variety of Egyptian and international dishes. The service truly reflected a five-star standard. One of the highlights of the trip was visiting Kom Ombo Temple and Edfu Temple during the sailing journey. Both temples were breathtaking and full of history. The guided tours were well-organized and very informative, which made the visits even more enjoyable. Sailing along the Nile while stopping to explore these magnificent temples made the experience unforgettable. I highly recommend this cruise to anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable trip in Egypt.

The cruise was just amazing. Comfortable, staff were caring and Mr. Bashir Mohamed cater for all our needs, from tours to airport transfer, transfer from luxor to Hurghada and even wait for us till 2am as our flight was delayed.
