Princes Wharf 2 BR Newly Renovated Luxury

Perfect location for CBD, ferries and, not least, the views. We arrived after dark and stepped onto the balcony to see the Auckland skyline lit up just across the wharf. Worth getting up for sunrise too. Spacious and well-provisioned apartment lived up to the photos and had all we needed for cooking and relaxing. Even when it rained we could sit on the covered balcony and watch the rainbows. We found it quiet for a city centre location - no noise from bars or street, and the ferries didn't bother us. It's easy to look up cruise ship dates if you want to check if there's one due during your trip. One tip if you're not coming by car look up Shed 20 Princes Wharf on a map as the street address on the booking site does NOT correspond to the apartment entrance. Of 17 accommodations during our NZ tour it's in our top 3 :-)

Minor maintenance issue with broken heater on balcony, which I suspect was more to do with a former guest attempting a repair with a beer can than any neglect by the host ;-)

The room and location are amazing. There is everything you need here and it's close to restaraunts, cafe's, shops and right on top of the ferries. We were only here overnight but plan to come back for a longer stay.

Finding the carpark was "interesting" but the hosts are in the process of making a video to make it easier. Our hosts were easily cantacted to steer me straight.

This is a spacious and luxurious apartment right in the centre of the harbour area. It has an amazing view of the wharf and city skyline. Yes there are ferries coming and going but this adds to the atmosphere and entertainment and because of the deep covered balcony you can still chill easily amid the activity below. Bed and sofa were both very comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and there is a lovely modern shower room. The added advantage of free secure parking is really good if you are in the middle of an NZ tour. A short walk to restaurants and cafes and also to the bus and train interchanges to help you get around the rest of the city easily. We would highly recommend this place.

Nothing we did not like but do check the cruise docking websites, as it wont be such fun if there is a cruise liner tied up on Princes Wharf itself. Elsewhere they don't affect this property at all.
