Princes Wharf 2 BR Newly Renovated Luxury

Good size and location.

Woke up to a large ship obscuring any view.

The apartment was clean, comfortable, and in a great location to enjoy the nearby Viaduct restaurants and bars, including close to Auckland City attractions.

When we arrived at the apartment unfortunately their was a massive cruise ship obstructing the entire view between the apartment and the sea/wharf/harbourside and city background. The cruise ship is docked so close to the apartment that passengers in their rooms on the ship were looking directly inside and outside the apartment. Consequently, having no privacy at all if the curtains are open. We kept the curtains closed and decided to stay out in the city longer than we planned. So it was quite disappointing that we did not get the opportunity to enjoy the spectacular views from the apartment, as shown in the pictures online. If you are booking this place and the sea/wharf and city views are big factors in your choice to stay, then make sure you ask whether a cruise ship will be docked their on your booking dates. Some visitors are unfamiliar with the cruise ship names/timetables that dock at the Viaduct. I recommend that customers should be notified before they book or perhaps put this as a note in the apartment description. Aside from that, hosts are very kind and friendly. Instructions to get to the apartment were clear, which made it easy to find. The apartment is beautiful, comfortable, and modern, but unfortunately, we can only leave the stunning views to the imagination. If the cruise ship wasn't there, this apartment would have been a 10/10 stay.😊

Got a bit lost with instructions and not signposted very well but was an amusing adventure so didn't matter in the end.

Location was very convenient and the apt was pleasant. Having a washer and dryer was nice. We appreciated the welcome basket.

The bedrooms don't have full floor to ceiling walls, so you don't have complete privacy. The living room is small as there's not much space between the couch and the TV.

Once we got used to the ferry noise and cruise ships outside our window, it was a convenient location overall, with a grocery store, shopping centre and restaurants/cafes within a few minutes' walk. The harbour views were good too, and the apartment is on the opposite side of the wharf to the harbour bridge views and faces east, so gets the sunrise and is shaded in the afternoons. The apartment is a good size and is equipped with every conceivable accessory, even a heated towel rail and heated bathroom mirror, plus a washing machine and separate dryer, which was a bonus. You could stay for a year! We had a medical emergency during our stay and the owner couldn't have been more helpful.

We weren't expecting to have cruise ships moored almost within touching distance of our balcony! They are generally only there for one day at a time, and only two or three times a week, but they completely block the view and some of the light, and there is absolutely no privacy unless the sheer curtains are kept closed, and the wharf equipment is loud, plus thousands of people disembark in a small area. The very busy ferry terminal was much closer than we expected, and as they constantly honk their horns from about 6am until about midnight, it was quite noisy, although we did eventually get used to this and ended up quite enjoying watching them coming and going.

Great location with a marvelous view of the harbor and city. Very comfortable furnishings and we spent most of our time on the balcony lounging on the sofa.

Keys were a bit difficult to retrieve from their location but we managed to.

location was perfect for all our social events at the Wynyard Wharf.

Abit of a mission to get keycard&fob for apartment but we figured it out. just need to really absorb all the info ration of how to access the apartment. Having 2 lockboxes and 3 codes to deal with, we got there in the end. Rex was excellent to deal with and he was so easy to work with.

Location was perfect, the apartment was very comfortable and well equipped. We had a great stay.

Initial difficulty getting into the property

The cruise ship docks right out the front of the apartment and shook the building waking us up extremely early in the morning. The carpark was very hard to find
