The host, David, was true to all the other reviews I have read about him - thoughtful, charming and very aware of his guests' needs. The provisions that were provided were exemplary.

Nice & safe place to stay. Very close to Waverley station and town attraction in walking distance. In morning, Walk to Dean Village for exercise.

The apartment was really clean! It had everything we needed. The host David is very kind and helpful. Thanks for the great stay!

The beds are a bit small (but we, the Dutch, are of course quite big), but if you don't have to share - or share it with someone you are very comfortable with, it is no problem :-)

"We very much enjoyed our stay on Rose St. It's very comfortable and perfectly located."

The apartment was spotless and well-equipped with even a hairdryer and extra bathroom toiletries. We appreciated the bowl of fruit and Tunnock Teacakes and fresh milk. The host David met us with the keys and we were grateful to be allowed to keep our bags in the apartment until it was time to catch our train home. That made it a lot easier to walk around the city and enjoy the time we had on our last day in Edinburgh.

When the time comes to replace the bed, I would buy a bigger one and both sides could do with a bedside table.
