This place canceled on me upon my arrival in Cebu because the host couldn’t handle professional feedback. She charged me a cleaning fee and still asked me to throw out my garbage upon checkout, which doesn’t make sense. On top of that, she heads up multiple extra fees for various things...... I never recommend this place! Check-in is listed as 3 PM (not 2 PM), yet they expect you to check out exactly at 12 PM. Standard check-in is usually 2 PM, so this felt unreasonable. I’ve traveled across Asia, and most places are flexible with check-in times. In some cases, if the room is available, they let you check in early without extra charges. Here, however, they charge an additional 250, which feels excessive.

I find these house rules overly rigid and unreasonable compared to other accommodations I’ve experienced. For example, even high-end condos in Pattaya with excellent facilities typically do not charge extra for early check-in, especially if the unit is already available. Charging additional fees for things like stained towels also feels excessive. Minor wear and tear should be considered part of normal usage, not something guests are penalized for with extra charges. If the rules are this strict and come with so many added fees, it raises the question of why the unit is listed as a guest accommodation at all. Hospitality should be about providing a reasonable and comfortable experience, not creating a long list of penalties that make guests feel restricted. Overall, these policies feel unbalanced and out of line with standard practices in many other places. Based on my experience, this kind of approach discourages me from recommending this destination to my foreign friends. I would rather suggest countries like Thailand and other parts of Asia, where accommodations tend to be more reasonable and less focused on excessive fees or opportunistic charges.

The apartment was as described, comfortable and ideal for a short stay. The pool area was lovely.

It could have been cleaner, and we couldn’t work out how to turn on the TV.
