Erik was an amazing host! He (and his family) were very warm, welcoming and accommodating. He was eager to help plan trips, and was very quick to text if I had any questions. Definitely recommend!!

Excellent value for money. Good sized room. Comfortable double bed. Hot water in the shower. WiFi worked well in the room. Accommodation is simple but you have to consider the price. Nice breakfast. Lovely people. Really helpful.

A bit of a walk to the centre of town, but not really a problem for me. Just be aware that it's a 15-20 minute walk.

Thanks to Erik, we had a great stay in Huaraz. He and his family are so generous, welcoming and kind. He organised all our trips, made us a delicious breakfast and kindly took us to the viewpoint! Nothing is too much to ask. Thank you

It’s a little far from the centre, and can be loud at night but this is the place to stay if you want a genuine experience.

Erick is a super host. He offers everything we needed as cheap and excellent tours and experience of the city and Peruvian life. I definitely recommend it !

Don’t book anywhere else! The room was great, clean and spacious. Erik our host was absolutely incredible; he picked us up from the bus station and was always available to answer questions about hikes (as he is a guide). He showed us around the city, took us to the mirador and we even did laguna 69 with him and his family. And when our bus to Lima was canceled, he truly saved us by arranging a colectivo and giving directions on how to get to Lima before our flight. A simple breakfast was provided most days and when we left too early we asked for some bread the night before to take with us. The shower was decent, hot with good pressure except for one day. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk from the center. Overall, for the price and the incredible hospitality of Erik, it’s one of the best places we have stayed.

The building is under construction so some stairs are unfinished and there is not great heat or noise isolation but all the basic facilities are there.

Breakfast was good and every day it was different The location is good if you don't mind some walking and the area felt really safe. The owner Erik was really nice. He met us up at the bus station and the day after he follow us up to Mirador de Rataquenua for an acclimatization day. Erik was really helpful and helpt us with everything and give us a lot of great information. What to do, how to get to that place, helpt us to book a tour etc. Erik want us to have a really great time in Huaraz and see and do so many things we wanted to.

We had a problem with the hot water, but as soon as Erik found out, he fixed it right away. We stayed here for 6 nights in total and we had appreciated if the garbage was emptied at least once.

I can just recommend this place soooo much! If you go to Huaraz this is the place you wanna stay at. Erik was a wonderful host, preparing delicious selfmade vegan breakfast and also lunch and dinner when ordered beforehand, guiding us to Willkacocha lagune, providing reliable local information, lending a bike and many other things. Furthermore, we had inspiring conversations with him. He is a great host and knowledgeable guide, tirelessly picking up garbage for a cleaner Huaraz. The rest of the family is also really sweet. Thank you for everything! 100% recommended!!! ☆
