Charming 2 Bed House in Tewkesbury Centre

This was my 2nd time here & won’t be my last. Perfect location in the centre of Tewkesbury. Very clean & comfortable cottage with everything you need to make an enjoyable stay.

The home was exceptionally clean and welcoming. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Sorry I forgot to empty the fridge. The courtyard was beautiful to relax in in the morning sun.

The manhole cover outside the front door was a little loud when people walked over it in the alley. But was not a problem for us.

Location was perfect, especially as we went to shows at the Roses Theatre just a couple of minutes walk away. The town centre and Abbey were all within easy reach and it was a good place for (muddy!) walks on the edge of town. All of the rooms are spacious and the hallway had plenty of space to deal with wet shoes and damp jackets! Heating was good and the bath, as well as shower, a luxury. Kitchen and bathroom had most of what we needed.

Just a few little additions would be helpful - better lighting in the kitchen, especially by the cooker, and a washing up bowl for the sink. A chair in the larger bedroom would be helpful, too,

Great location. Great commutation from host. Really cosy cottage with fabulous facilities. Extremely comfortable stay for our weekend at the races!

The reason for the low score is nothing to do with the property as it is fantastic but, see there use of a management company. Great place to stay with everything that was needed for a 4 nights stay. Fully equipped kitchen decent shower and comfy beds.

The worse thing by a mile is that the owners use a company called Superhog,( whose online reviews are appalling) which after my previous dealings with them ,I swore I'd never use them again. they bombard you with messages and emails demanding you fill out your personal details, and pay either £25 damage waiver or a returnable £400 waiver which has a £6 charge, even though this is booked with Booking.Com who have all my details and cover insurances. Parking is pot luck after 5pm, the car park is free after 5.30 but a few hundred yards away

We liked the location, cleanliness and facilities eg. kitchen is well equipped with some basic ingredients. This is a well maintained place, very close to car parks, centre and shops.

The fittings are nice, but some are too delicate (eg. Bathroom tap or bath). The hot water shower has low pressure. The main bedroom can be a bit noisy with traffic, specially when the windows are open.
