Superb New Build City Centre Flat and Gym

Apartment not cleaned or changed from last occupants! Disgusting as owner now has tried to say it was but have photos as proof and messages.

Apartment not cleaned or changed from previous occupants which we were told was not the day before so bins smelt and apartment disgusting. We checked in early as Agee’s but was not ready so went away to York centre for a few hours. When we got back at 5pm still not touched. Owner messaged us back to say cleaners on way from Leeds and there had been a mess up. Waited another hour and then a lady and her little daughter aged about 10 turned up. Not her fault but we had packed bags back in car and booked an alternative hotel by this time as we had things on that night. Now owner not refunding us the money and we are having to go through the bank and booking.com. Terrible experience, one our children is disabled so the apartment not being ready put a lot of stress we didn’t need for our few days away. Looks like we will have to go through small claims court to get our £402 back.

Bed in one of the rooms, the mattress does not fit in bed making it impossible for 2 to sleep despite it being a double bed.
