North View Cottage next to Hadrian's Wall

Loved the whole place

Equipped with everything you need, we'll kept and comfortable. Great location in Gilsland, with the village and the Wall on your doorstep. All year round accommodation with private outside seating area and inside with good controlable heating.

Cosy, small but has all you could need, well provisioned in a good location for local walk’s ( Crammel Lynn waterfall worth a trip but the path was very overgrown) Also easy to adjust temperature and warmed up quickly. Good to read in local news that the Samson inn( which was closed when we stayed) is reopened as a community venture.

Very nice little chalet in a good location if you want quiet and to be in the countryside near Hadrian's Wall. Modern decoration and fitments, including good heating, made for a comfortable stay.

There could be more plates and cutlery, but that's a niggle - there was enough which is all one should really ask for.
