North View Cottage next to Hadrian's Wall

Everything - perfect, just what we wanted! The whole ‘cottage’, although small was so well thought out, really comfortable & spotlessly clean. (Husband was doing the Pennine Way & I was providing support & cycling. The North View Cottage was our base for a few stages & the facilities ensured a nice warm end to the day, ability to do washing, dry out, re-fuel and relax in comfort on what has been a pretty damp experience at times!). Thank you!

Not sure hadrians wall was at bottom of garden.mayby relocated wall like a lot historicaly in the area.

The location was very good. Very clean . Good working wifi . Everything you needed was there. The water of the shower was nice warm but the amount of water could be better .

Location was brilliant - especially for travelling the short distance to the archaeological dig at Magna Roma Fort. Well appointed and very clean.

Great location near Hadrian’s Wall Path. Nice self catering apartment. Nice washer/dryer combo. Quiet location. Bring your own detergent, shampoo, conditioner, biscuits, etc. The apartment did have coffee and tea.

A bit pricey but we needed this location logistically for our walk.

Exceptionally clean and well equipped, a perfect little home from home! Great location for Hadrian's wall and although it's nestled near other buildings it's still so quiet and we woke up to birdsong every morning. The welcome book provided by the hosts was a positive compendium of information, not only about the house itself and all the appliances, but also about the local area and attractions which we definitely took advice from. The shower is really good and very welcome after a long hike in the rain, and the TV with Sky was a welcome surprise when we were too tired in the evenings to do anything else! Fully functioning kitchen with full sized fridge freezer, dishwasher, oven and hob and loads of utensils. And the bed was comfy! Really couldn't have asked for more, thank you for making our stay so enjoyable! 😊

I was visiting a work location nearby for 3 days so needed somewhere close and to fit my limited budget. this cottage was perfect. great value for money. lovely location. there was a roman mile castle just a short stroll away after dinner, in lovely evening sunshine. bed super comfy shower hot. all the facilities I needed in the kitchen to quickly cook what I needed (well actually "re heat" not cook as I brought food from the canteen at work :) all in all a great find and I will definitely try to book this again if available next time I have to come back here.

Really wonderful host who was on hand to help us when we had some difficulty accessing the key. Also provided a really useful welcome booklet packed with information about the area.
